Commonwealth Commonsense has been advocating for transparent and accountable state government since it formed in 2015, and “Keystones to Good Government” is the organization’s inaugural survey.  The survey was distributed to all 2018 General Assembly candidates, and consists of five questions focusing on issues vital to ensuring an accountable and representative government:

  • Mandatory electronic filing of campaign finance reports

  • Stricter limits on gifts from lobbyists to elected officials

  • Ending closed primary elections

  • Creating a non-partisan redistricting commission

  • Establishing campaign contribution limits in Pennsylvania elections

Full survey results are available HERE

Commonwealth Commonsense will continue to accept and publish responses until two weeks before the election

(October 31).
